feelbeing privacy policy
last updated: July 31, 2026
feelbeing is a small, quiet mood-tracking app. this policy explains what it stores, where, and why — in plain language, because there isn't much to hide.
what feelbeing collects
your email address. used only to sign you in (a one-time code is emailed to you — there are no passwords). your email is your account identity and is never used for marketing.
your check-ins. each time you log a mood, feelbeing stores the mood value, the optional note you typed, and the time. this is the entire point of the app, and it is yours alone.
your settings. the color scale, welcome message, and reminder times you choose are saved with your account so they follow you across devices.
that's the complete list. feelbeing has no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. it does not access your contacts, location, photos, health data, or anything else on your device.
where your data lives
your check-ins and settings are stored in a database hosted by Neon (running on AWS in the United States, us-east-1). every row is protected by row-level security: the database itself enforces that your account can only ever read or write your own data. all traffic between the app and the database is encrypted with TLS.
reminder notifications are scheduled on your device by iOS — no server is involved, and nothing about your reminders leaves your phone except the times themselves (synced as part of your settings).
who can see your data
nobody but you. your data is never sold, shared, rented, or used to train anything. the only party with technical access is our infrastructure provider (Neon, as the database host), which processes it solely to run the service.
how long it's kept
until you delete it. you can remove any individual check-in inside the app (swipe it away in the log), or delete your entire account and all of its data from settings → account → delete account. deletion is immediate and permanent. you can also request deletion by email at the address below.
your choices
- notifications are entirely opt-in and can be turned off anytime in the app or in iOS Settings.
- you can sign out at any time; check-ins made while signed out (or in the app's offline mode) stay only on your device.
children
feelbeing is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
changes
if this policy changes in a meaningful way, the "last updated" date above will change with it, and the current version will always live at this address.
